Standard H2: The facility measures efficiency indicators

DR.AMIR

  • This standard contains indicators that measure efficiency of processes and human resources working in HWC (SC) such as OPD per MLHP, Home visits conducted by ASHA/MPW/ANM, time taken from identification of the cases to initiation of treatment etc.

  • Review of records can be done to assess that these indicators have been measured correctly.

  • ME H2.1: The facility measures efficiency indicators related to human resource productivity and service delivery processes.

    (Focuses on monitoring operational efficiency metrics such as daily OPD load per MLHP/CHO, number of home visits conducted by ASHA/MPW/ANM, and average turn-around time for laboratory diagnostic reports).

  • ME H2.2: The facility monitors efficiency in clinical management and continuity of care.

    (Focuses on measuring the time taken from initial screening or case identification to treatment initiation, tracking referral follow-ups, and monitoring drug inventory turn-around times).
